Na Xbox 360 zagramy w ponad dwieście gier z pierwszego Xboxa (ta liczba wciąż rośnie)

Dwa dni temu pisaliśmy o tym, że dwie części cyklu Halo będą grywalne na Xbox 360. Tymczasem, Microsoft opublikował pełną listę ponad dwustu gier z platformy Xbox, w które będzie można z powodzeniem zagrać na nowej konsoli nadchodzącej generacji w momencie jej rynkowego debiutu (kolejne pozycje mają być stopniowo dodawane do tego zestawienia).

Na jakich zasadach będzie działała kompatybilność „trzystasześćdziesiątki” z produkcjami na pierwszego Xboxa? Przede wszystkim, gracz musi posiadać Xboxa 360 z twardym dyskiem, gdzie będzie trzymał starsze gry - bez tego ani rusz. Uruchomienie starszych tytułów będzie możliwe dzięki wcześniejszemu odpaleniu specjalnego emulatora, aczkolwiek szczegóły w tej sprawie poznamy po premierze nowej konsoli. Każda gra będzie mogła zostać ulepszona o możliwość wyświetlania grafiki na dużym ekranie, w rozdzielczości 720p z pełnym antyaliasingiem - specjalne oprogramowanie do tego celu powinniśmy pobrać i zainstalować m.in. z serwisu Xbox Live. Co ważne, na konsolę Xbox 360 nie będzie można przenieść zapisanych stanów rozgrywki czy płatnych materiałów, jakie pobraliśmy poprzez internetowy serwis Microsoftu.
