Pax Dei | PC
Miałem przyjemność brać udział w Alpha Testach i póki co zmierza to wszystko w dobrym kierunku, choć przed twórcami jeszcze masa pracy :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vfn8Zkej76o&t=39s

Okay team, listen up, here's the plan.
Create steam page with a grand description of a Survival Sandbox MMO rich in features.
Download Unreal Engine 5 [FREE]
Open UE5, use Landscape Procedural Generation to create a huge barren land mass.
Buy the following from UE5 Marketplace
- Survival Bundle (choppable trees, mineable rocks/ores, etc.)
- Building Assets (walls, windows, roof, etc.)
- Base Building System Package (basic base building mechanics, blueprints)
- Basic Crafting Bundle (woodworking, smelting, tailoring, etc.)
- Medieval Male & Female Character set (remove gender from char creation screen)
- Armour and Weapons Assets Bundle
Now do the following:
**VERY IMPORTANT** Tell players this game might require a subscription in the future, but do not provide details on pricing. (Reasoning further down)
Tell players that the game is 100% Player Run Sandbox MMO, so we won't have to add any of the following features (or any features at all).
- Story or Dialog
- Cities or Buildings
- Marketplace or trade system
- Class system
- NPC
- Quest
- Meaningful progression system
- Any Social Features
Use Default UE5 combat system; tell the players it'll be worked on later in development.
Add default bears, wolves, and other monster assets from UE5 Marketplace, tell players that it'll be further developed at a later time.
Time gate (and chance to fail) crafting mechanics to make it a grind to even build a house or basic gear. (Because theres nothing else to do and we need players to be engaged for at least 2 hours so they can't steam refund!)
Pay a bunch of streamers to shill that this is going to be the best Survival Sandbox MMO ever made. (Except Lirik, DO NOT PAY LIRIK, the guy ALT-F4 out of our game after playing for 20 minutes and said our Base Building System is complete trash; which is the only thing the game has going for it, DO NOT SPONSOR LIRIK UNDER ANY CIRCUM... or... wait a minute, maybe DO sponsor Lirik, force him to say good things about our game!)
Release game into Early Access; Sell a bunch of copies to the copium crowd.
**Three months from now, if there's anyone still playing. Enact our subscription model fee of $100 per month (or more), failure to pay this subscription will see deletion of all your Characters, Items, and Base. This will force those whose trying to stick around to stop playing.
Wait 30-business days for GabeN to cut us the final check. Now we can completely shutdown all servers and dissolve this game studio. [PROFIT]
Repeat this whole process again under a new studio. [DOUBLE PROFIT]
Or better yet, release a new early access game that we were working on, while this one was under "Early Access" Development. [QUADRUPLE-A PROFIT]
[EDIT]
Thanks dev for the response. For the record, I played both CBT, nothing has changed going into this Early Access."
