Forum: Rozwiń skrzydła w cosplay'owym konkursie gry Aion i wygraj żywą gotówkę!

I'd love to participate, but it's really hard to find 3 reference pictures of any armor of choice, and I do not have the time to actually try and get the armor ingame, because then I don't have enough time left to actually make the cosplay. Is 3 reference pictures really necessery? I can only find 2 of the one I want (1 front and 1 back).

And is it allowed to use designs from Aion 4.5?

g4gcosplay , We are happy to hear that you want to take part! :) About your question, the amount of reference pictures we require is 1 for orginal art ( so one-arts , loading screens, promo arts etc )which you can most probably find only once on those graphics OR about 3 screenshots of character ingame. If you don't own your dream-cosplay armor in the game, how about Aion 3D viewer programs such ? There is plenty of those online :) In the really extreme cases 2 pictures of front and the back of your character should be enough for judges to have a look at the reference.
And yes, you are allowed to use the designs from 4.5 , as long as you have official graphic - sure, why not!

I keep fingers crossed for your entry! :) In an answer to your question i would like to send you to Regulations , point 4 : "The photos must be provided as attachments to e-mail directed to [email protected]. It is also mandatory to create an entry comment (with thumbnails of contest photographs), right in the comments section at aion.gry-online.pl. "
So basically it means we want you to send us an email with your costume photogaphs in high resolution, reference picture and all important info inside the email + resized, small pictures in the comment section ( right here!) so everyone can see your great work :) You can add it while writing a comment by clicking the button " Przeglądaj..." below.

I understand that "directing" doesn't mean filming your own video (or even editing, for that matter), but "photographic skills"... Please kindly explain? :)

Dear Dulcinea thank you for your message, let me clear that regulation for you :)
The pictures or video don't have to be taken by you ( as the model ). You can have your pictures taken by a photographer of your choice (the prize of best photography/videography award will go to costume creator - the one who entries the contest - sharing the prize with photographer is your personal decision :) ). You, as the costume maker, can also dress up any model in your cosplay and take the pictures by yourself if you have photography talent! How about inventing the video scenario and then play the main role in it? The possibilites are endless, we only hope to see the best graphic documentation of your cosplay as possible! :)

Due to the massive interest of cosplayers from not only European Union but also Russia, Ukraine and other countries of Commonwealth of Independent States we have made a decidison to let them take part in our contest. Looks like due to our technical mistake the new Regulations haven't uploaded correctly - It is already fixed, we are humbly sorry for confusing situation! We sincerely hope that the chance for new contestants will bring goregous costumes into the competition so we can all admire the cosplay. :)

I have a quick question. I don`t quite get the second part of this rule:
9. If a contestant provides the Organizer with photos, the contestant simultaneously agrees that the Organizer can use them (partially or as a whole). Contestants also agree not only to publish photos of the costumes, but also the appearance of the contestant (or any other person, as described in paragraph 3 of these terms).

Do I interpret it correctly when I think that I give you permission to use thses pictures not only for the costume, but also of the person? (My other interpretation was that I am not allowed to upload these pictures myself. And I think I`m wrong there.)

Good evening Armine ! Let me clarify : the rule 9 allows GryOnline to post pictures of cosplay ( like WIP shots) as well as pictures of you ( or a model ) in the full costume on the GryOnline page. It is a standard description in every photo contest. Don't worry about posting your photos here, You are more than welcomed to attach them to your comments so everyone can see the costume! :)

No cóż, wszystkie pokazane cosplay-je są naprawdę dobre, ale moją faworytką stała się Shiaya. Piękna pani w kostiumie z wieloma szczegółami, które podkreślają jego charakter a także nadają bardziej realny wygląd.
Ten cosplay podoba mi się również pod względem kolorystycznym. Połączenie czerni, srebra i błękitu wypada naprawdę fajnie i cieszy oko. Nic dodać, nic ująć :)

oddałem głos na Keiko
po prostu najbardziej mi się ten kostium spodobał i przypadł do gustu
ale i tak zagłosowałbym, na wszystkie :P jakby było można

Mój wybór padł na Keiko. Naprawdę świetny stój na który pewnie trzeba było poświęcic kilkadziesiąt godzin każdy szczegół jest na swoim miejsu dodatki świetnie dobrane, struktura materiałów oraz użytych odcieni jest śliczna! Nie wspominając już o pięknej modelce. :) Podsumowując to jeden z najlepszych cosplayów jakie widziałem w życiu jest naprawdę znakomity!

Kiedy tylko obejrzałem cosplay-e, od razu wiedziałem, że muszę zagłosować na saemaligna. Ten kostium zachwyca ogromem szczegółów, kolorystyką, ale przede wszystkim klimatem, który mnie przywodzi na myśl fauna z "Labiryntu Fauna". Otoczka tajemniczości, mistycyzmu, szaleństwa, a to wszystko przystrojone wręcz "psychiczną" mieszanką kolorów. To jakby słodkie przebranie psychopaty. Jeśli chodzi o techniczną stronę cosplay-u to to jest on wykonany z wielką precyzją. Każdy element jest dopracowany i komponuje się z resztą. Takiej charakteryzacji nie powstydziłby się Holywoodzki hit :)

Wybrałem cosplay u Shiaya gdyż przykuł on moją uwagę wielką dokładnością w wykonaniu.
Ciemną kolorystyką a przed wszystkim dokładnością wykonania wszystkich elementów.
Nie bez znaczenia pozostaje też osoba która ten cosplay założyła. Jej włosy i twarz idealnie wkomponowują się w
strój. Dla mnie gdyby robiono ekranizacje Aion to bez żadnych wątpliwości Shiaya ze swoim cosplay'em powinna
w nim wystąpić. Wszystkie te argumenty znacząco pokazują dlaczego najlepszym cosplay'em jest cosplay Shay'i

Mój głos idzie na nią. Dlaczego? Postać którą ta osoba prezentuje była najtrudniejsza do odwzorowania, ale udało jej się to. Strój jest oryginalne i bardzo, bardzo ładny :)

Nie będę ściemniał i wymyślał cudów dlaczego. Zagłosowałem na saemaligna, bo ilość pracy jaki musiała włożyć w swojego cosplaya robi wrażenie. I właśnie za to poświęcenie dostaje mój głos.

Wybrałem Shiaya.
Świetny stój trzeba na niego poświecić kilkadziesiąt godzin wszystko jest na swoim miejscu.
Pięknie dopracowane detale i idealnie dobrana modelka. Gdyby postawić ją obok oryginału ciężko by było znaleźć różnice. Uwagę przyciąga także stożona z taką samą starannością broń.
Jest to jeden z najlepszych cosplayów jakie widziałem.

Głosuję na Shiayę. Ma najlepszy strój i najlepiej się w nim prezentuje z całej czwórki, a to jest wg mnie najważniejsze w cosplayu.

Głosuję na Keiko. Strój bardzo klimatyczny i dobrze przemyślany, wszystkie elementy i kolory do siebie pasują.

Wykonawcy strojów postawili poprzeczkę bardzo wysoko. Wszystkie cosplay'e są na najwyższym poziomie, mnie jednak najbardziej urzekł ten wykonany przez użytkownika saemaligna. Wiele dobrze odwzorowanych elementów i świetnie dobrane kolory sprawiają, iż postać zdaje się być realną. Oczywiście to jest dodatek, największe wrażenie robi twarz. Makijaż i idealnie dobrana barwa włosów oddają to co powinny - zwierzęca natura. Wszystko to połączone daje obraz cudownie dobranej kompozycji, która zwróci uwagę nawet największego laika, który nigdy nie miał do czynienia z cosplayami.

Ja zagłosowałem na "Dulcinea". Tak jakoś, podoba mi się ta biel.

Jeżeli miałbym się kierować tylko "kostiumem" to postawiłbym na Saemaligna i to bez żadnych wątpliwości. Zdecydowałem się jednak na Keiko, której strój wydaje mi się, że wymagał nieco mniej pracy ale stosunkowo dobrze podkreśla kobiece walory tej cosplayerki co dla typowego wzrokowca nie jest bez znaczenia. Wszystkie z tych cosplayów są w najgorszym wypadku ok.

Witam, mój głos oddałem na cosplay saemaligna. Dawno już żaden cosplay nie wywarł na mnie takiego wrażenia. Wszystkie inne kandydatki wyglądają niesamowicie, widać że przy każdym projekcie spędziło się masę godzin. Mamy styczność z charakteryzacją na światowym poziomie, to jednak muszę wyróżnić ten cosplay na który oddałem głos. Cała stylistyka - układ kolorów, ich odcień i barwa, detale ubioru, klimatyczne otoczenie, makijaż no i wreszcie dobre kadry, które ukazują wszystko w taki sposób, że ma się wrażenie iż to nie jest fikcja-zabawa daną formą tylko rzeczywisty świat. Całość jest kwintesencją fantastyki, taką jaką kochamy. Bowiem nie jest ukazany jakiś mężczyzna czy też kobieta. Tutaj widzimy istotę, tajemniczą, obcą być może groźną. Przyciągająca naszą uwagę w taki sposób iż można poczuć się nieswojo. W moim odczuciu to jest właśnie to co najbardziej cenie w grach/ książkach fantasy - poznawanie i podziwianie tego co nie zdarza się w codziennym życiu, istot, postaci które są tylko i wyłącznie wytworem wyobraźni. Wyczekuję kolejnych tego typu prac związanych z tym uniwersum. Gratuluje wyobraźni oraz kunsztu wykonania, dziękuje i pozdrawiam.

Witam. Wybrałem kostium Shiaya ponieważ jest on bardzo dopracowany pod każdym względem, najbardziej rzuciły mi się dobrze wyrobione detale kostiumu oraz jego kolorystyka, połączenie koloru niebieskiego który mi się bardzo rzucił w oczy, z szarym i czarnym.

Wybrałem Keiko bo dziewczyna mi się najbardziej podoba a kostium nie jest "udziwniony" i pasujący do mojego charakteru.

Bez wahania oddałem swój głos na moją ulubioną postać, którą jest Shiaya. Efekt finalny, moim skromnym zdaniem, niczym nie różni się od efektów pracy hollywoodzkich charakteryzatorów. Kostium wygląda niczym wzięty wprost z planu wysokobudżetowej produkcji. Na pewno sam Peter Jackson skłoniłby głowę z uznaniem i chętnie ubrałby w taki ciuszek jedną z bohaterek filmów, które zapewne już planuje w swoim wizjonerskim umyśle.
Dopracowanie najmniejszych szczegółów, duży nakład pracy, wierność oryginałowi, śliczna modelka - to dlatego ten cosplay jest najbliższy mojemu sercu.
